Price: The pre-registration camp price for instruction Thursday through Sunday is just $219 (before June 1, 2018). After June 1, 2018, the regular price of $249 will apply.

 

Black Belt Recruiters Wanted: We hire black belt instructors to lead groups of 5, 10, or more. Call (540) 381-2025 or 540-267-6091, to learn more about working as a paid KC2018 recruiter. To register as a group, the black belt recruiter must collect all applications and registration fees and mail them in one package.

 

Location: All classes will be held in the ultra-modern Radford Recreation Center. The Center is fully air conditioned with fantastic acoustics, showers, break-out rooms, and viewing areas and located near Radford University, Interstate 81/ Exit 109.

Pre-registration by mail: Space is limited. Campers should pre-register before June 1, 2018. To insure a reservation send a check or money order in the amount of $99 (non-refundable) to: Karate College, P. O. Box 402, Christiansburg VA  24068.

 

Martial arts convention and trade show: Various artists will offer T-shirts, videos, books, weapons, and other items for sale at special seminar rates. Vendor tables are available for $990 per table. Black Belt recruiters receive one vendor table free! Represent your school; sell your merchandise as a Karate College vendor.

 

Karate College check in will begin Thursday, June 21, at 3 p.m. at the Karate College location in the Radford Recreation Center. Easy to locate from Interstate 81 or RU Campus, just turn left at the second stop light onto Hammett, right on Noblin, left on Second Ave., and right onto George. Instruction begins Thursday, June 21, at 5 p.m., with Bill “Superfoot” Wallace. You’ll have plenty of time to check in, locate your hotel, and attend classes. Classes continue Friday morning at 8 a.m. You will need a pass to enter classes. Call (540) 381-2025 or 540-267-6091 to arrange for Friday registration.

 


Lodging: Act fast and reserve a campus room 1 mile from the Rec Center. The camp has reserved air conditioned rooms available on the Radford University campus. Single occupancy is only $40.00 per night.  Double occupancy per person/per night ($30.00 per person, must have roommate). You can pay for the rooms with credit cards or check. Off-campus this year we have the Official Karate College 2018 Hotel: the Christiansburg Quality Inn (9 miles from the Radford Recreation Center on Interstate 81). Call 540-382-2055 to reserve a room that sleeps 1-4 for only $59 per night! Ask for Karate College rates. Adjacent or near to the Quality Inn is Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesdays, Denny’s and four fast food chains, a Food Lion, A Drive-in Theater etc. (Note: Most Hotels in Radford are full due to bike convention.)

 


What to bring: Bring cameras, workout clothes, sparring gear, escrima sticks, boxing gloves, etc.

 

How to register: Complete the Application, sign the waiver, and enclose your check or money order (made out to Karate College) for just $99 non-refundable deposit (Pay the balance at check-in.), and mail to: Karate College, P. O. Box 402, Christiansburg VA 24068. All confirmations and further information will be mailed/e-mailed to camp registrants during the first week of June.
